Mansfield prides itself on having some of the best parks and open spaces in the country. Many have received national recognition and awards.

Green Flag Award

The Green Flag Award scheme is the only national standard for parks and green spaces in the UK. It recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country.

A Green Flag site sets a benchmark of environmental excellence and can help boost the popularity of an area. The awards are given annually and we must apply each year to renew our Green Flag status for each park and green space. See further information about Green Flag Award.

Flying a Green Flag is an excellent and prestigious civic achievement. They provide our communities with a great sense of pride.
