Six weeks of sport for just £12!

If it's been a few years since you played netball or badminton or you've always wanted to try scuba diving now is the perfect opportunity.

Mansfield District Council is offering six sessions of each activity for just £12 as part of the Council's Sports Development team's Back2Sport initiative to encourage people to play sport again or try something new.

The activities are suitable for people aged 16 years and over.

Scuba diving provided by North Notts Nautilus Club starts on Sunday 19 February from 2pm-3pm at the Rebecca Adlington Swimming Centre.

Badminton is on Mondays from 20 February from 7pm-8pm at Oak Tree Leisure Centre.

Netball is on Thursdays from 1 March at Manor Sport and Recreation Centre from 7pm-8pm.

Sports facilitator at the Council, Martin Cook, said: "The 'Back 2 Sport' sessions are a great opportunity for adults to take part in sport and physical activity.

"They are designed for anyone of any ability who would like to try a new sport or activity or perhaps want to take it up again if they haven't done it since school.

"Many of us set a new year's resolution to become more active and get fitter - this is the perfect opportunity!"
